Margaret and her partner own a conservation property near Nimmitabel, NSW, and they wanted to learn as much as possible about what is on the property. By joining ACTHA they have learned about their local herpetofauna (at last count, 30 species of snakes, lizards, frogs and turtle have been identified), to add to their knowledge of the other plants and animals on the property. Margaret is a retired public servant and a member of many other local conservation groups.
