ACTHA Bi-monthly Meeting
Time: 20.04.2010 19:30 - 21:00
Description
The bi-monthly ACTHA meetings are a great way to meet others with an interest in herpetology, and with a different guest speaker each month you are bound to learn something new!
David Hunter of the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change & Water will be giving a presentation entitled:
'Putting dots on maps; the simple survey can make the biggest contribution to threatened Herpetofauna conservation’.
Knowing where threatened species occur across the landscape is the basis for implementing the majority of critical recovery actions. I plan to demonstrate this through examples of recent surveys for threatened frogs species in south-eastern NSW.
