It runs over the course of a week in January and showcases a variety of Australian reptiles and amphibians, many of which are threatened, endangered and very rarely seen in the wild or captivity. Profits are used to support research, conservation and other social and environmental causes, with a focus on the ACT and it's surrounds.

Promoting & Protecting Australian Herpetofauna
Herpetology is the branch of zoology concerned with reptiles and amphibians. Established in 1985, the ACT Herpetological Association aims to promote the study and conservation of reptiles and amphibians, and to foster a positive community attitude toward this misunderstood group of animals. Our members encompass a broad cross-section of the community.
